For Our Visitors Three Requests

Please follow the museum rules.
  • ●To protect copyrights, photography and video recording are prohibited in certain areas.
  • ● As a general rule, eating and drinking are prohibited inside the museum. Your cooperation is appreciated. However, beverages are permitted in the courtyard.
  • ●Visitors who are intoxicated may be refused entry.
  • ●Visitors cannot enter the Oizumi Studio.

The museum does not have a parking lot or bicycle parking. Please also refrain from dropping off or picking up by bus or car nearby. *Click here for access information.

For school-related groups of 7 or more wishing to visit,
please make a reservation in advance.

At our museum, we accept weekday reservations for one school-related group of 7 or more people.
To prevent overcrowding, we regret that we must decline visits from other groups or school-related parties without a reservation. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

Key Points for Making a Reservation

Eligibility
Limited to off-campus studies for elementary, middle, and high schools.
*Even above cases, use by tour operators or for commercial purposes is not permitted. Please have a school representative apply directly.
About Reservations
Advance reservations are accepted for weekdays only. Please note that we cannot accept reservations for Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
Application Deadline
Please make your reservation at least 5 business days before your desired visit date.
How to Apply
Please apply using the "Group Advance Reservation Form" below. A staff member will contact you in reply.

About Access

Is there a parking lot or bicycle parking?
The museum does not have a parking lot or bicycle parking. Please use public transportation. Please also refrain from dropping off or picking up by bus or car nearby.

About Admission

Is admission ever restricted?
The museum is not very large, so during crowded times, we may restrict admission for safety reasons.
Can a non-school group of 7 or more people enter?
Groups of 7 or more people are asked to split into smaller groups of 6 or fewer and enter in rotation. An exception is made for families, who may enter together.
Can children enter alone?
Children of elementary school age or younger cannot enter alone. For their safety, they must be accompanied by an adult (junior high school student or older).
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not allowed in the museum.
*Service dogs (guide dogs, hearing dogs, and assistance dogs) are welcome.
Can I re-enter the museum?
Yes, as long as you have the admission sticker receieved upon entering, you can re-enter the museum on the same day as many times as you like until the last admission at 3:30 PM.

About Facilities and Equipment

Are there restrooms? Can I change diapers or breastfeed?
Restrooms are located within the facility. There is also a diaper changing table, but there is no nursing room.
Is there a place to store luggage?
There are no lockers or luggage storage areas in the facility. Please manage your own belongings.
Is there a place to park strollers?
There is a designated area for strollers to the right as you face the courtyard, just past the ramp.

About Services

Is there multilingual support?
This museum uses a multilingual display system with QR codes.
By scanning the QR code with your smartphone, you can read the exhibit descriptions in the language your phone is set to.

We do not offer guided tours, so please explore the museum freely.

About Visitor Etiquette and Precautions

Can I eat or drink inside the museum?
While eating and drinking are generally prohibited, visitors may consume beverages (excluding alcohol) in the courtyard only. Additionally, to protect valuable materials, only drinks in containers with lids are permitted.
Is smoking allowed?
The entire facility is non-smoking. Heated and electronic cigarettes are also prohibited. Bringing hazardous materials or open flames is also forbidden.
Are there any rules of conduct inside the facility?
Please follow the museum rules. Please refrain from actions that may disturb other visitors or staff (such as running around or shouting). To ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors, we ask for your cooperation in following the instructions of our staff.
Can I copy, sketch, or take notes inside the facility?
Copying and sketching are not permitted. Note-taking is allowed with pencil only. Please refrain from using ballpoint pens, fountain pens, ink brushes, or mechanical pencils.
